I contacted him and he gave me great free advice. But when I tried to engage his services not only did he not represent me, he never responded to emails basically saying "I want you to represent me and give you money." Must be doing really well financially to just completely ignore potential clients....

I recently went through a divorce and Mr. Kennon was my attorney. He was very responsive to all of my questions whether by email or over the phone. Many times he didn't even charge me for his time. Mr. Kennon was overseeing our adoption case with Brantley Boyett. He gave us a $500 credit towards our case due to our retainer being already spent even before the baby was born. They were only responsible for the ICPC paperwork. After the baby was born and we had concerns about the money they were ...spending once again, We tried to contact him. He refused to call us and instead responded by email. He basically blamed our Louisiana lawyer for everything Brantley did wrong. (which isn't the case.. If our LA lawyer knew everything why did we even NEED a TX lawyer? Enough said.) At the end of dealing with the firm we called and my husband tried to speak with Mr. Kennon. All he asked was for him to listen to our concerns about the whole process and case. Mr. Kennon would not listen nor let him talk then proceeded to hang up on us. We have NEVER been hung up on by a professional before. We do NOT recommend this firm or lawyer AT ALL since they do not take their clients into consideration.
