Ms. Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin then went on to receive her law degree from South Texas College of Law, Cum Laude, in 1991. Ms. Taylor received her license to practice law from the State Bar of Texas on May 1, 1992 and became board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1999. Ms. Taylor has been a frequent author and lecturer on family law matters locally and nationally, as well as for the State Bar of Texas. She has also spoke internationally on matters of Texas Family Law. She is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, is the recipient of the Cameron County Bar Association President’s Award in 2002, 2003, and 2004 and the Cameron County Bar Association Paula Waddle Distinguished Service Award for 2008-2009 and 2009-2010. Ms. Taylor is recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters for the years 2004 – 2017.
