In late 2017, I was terminated from my position from a local company, a position I had held for 19 years. Being 62 years old, well paid, and well established in the community. I was devastated. There were no other jobs that needed my specific talents in the area. Even if I could relocate, nobody was ...going to hire an expensive old guy that would probably retire within 3 or 4 years. So, I began searching for an attorney, at first just to discuss my options. The fact that my termination with no severance, no nothing, was not right, in the end that really didn't matter. What DID matter were the reasons I was fired, and if they were legal, or not. That's what I liked about Chris, he tells you what you need to know, not what you want to hear. That is a rare quality in an attorney. Anyway, to cut a long story short, for the next year Chris interviewed other affected employees, investigated my claims, brought in experts to analyze the case, and in short devoted himself to my case fully. He even visited my home, and interviewed my family as to the effect this had had on them. Each step of the way, Chris kept me fully informed of the good, and the not so good news. After 15 months, the case was resolved, and I have now found a good position with a new company. So, life is once again good. I do not wish what I went through on anyone, but if you have been unfairly dismissed from you job because of age, sex, or any other illegal reason, you absolutely CAN NOT find a finer Law Firm to represent you than McKinney Law Firm.
