Joseph Lassen

While going through my divorce, I chose Joseph Lassen as my attorney. He didn’t provide the support I needed even in my stressed mental state. He didn’t return my calls, he didn’t support my needs, or follow through with my wants for my divorce. He swept me under the rug and didn’t look out for my ...best interests. He took me for my money when I wasn’t in the right state of mind. I feel used and found myself left with nothing. To this day, I am still trying to recover everything I lost.

Do not hire him for divorce. I was the petitioner in my case and as soon as I paid my retainer fee to him, he was very "hands off". He was only reactive to opposing counsel's requests and he hires incompetent staff to do the leg work. I constantly called for a status on my case and they never answere...d the phone. I tried to email them and got no response. I finally went to the office in person to get a status and one of the paralegals that didn't even handle my case came out to talk to me and couldn't give me a status. They totally mishandled my case. This went on for 7 months before I decided to get another attorney that took care of my case right away. My new attorney had to start from scratch since nothing was done at the Lassen office in those 7 months. My new attorney handed me my finalized decree within 4 months. I would steer clear from the Lassen attorney if you're trying to get divorced.

I am officially making a report to the Texas State bar! We paid on April 29th. For a MONTH they did NOTHING. Couldn't even get a hold of them. Sent them notice that I was firing them, that very next Monday they tried everything, even as far as trash talking my new attorney. FILED WITH THE COURTS AFT...ER they had been fired. Kept trying to screw up my case, which we have PROOF of. Now keep trying to charge our card for money they did NOT EARN 3 MONTHS LATER. Go somewhere else!! These people do NOT care. IF YOU USED THEM AND HAD THE SAME ISSUE FILE WITH THE TEXAS STATE BAR. THEY DONT PLAY WITH SCAMMERS LIKE THIS. They almost cost me my daughter! PLUS THEY DELETE GOOGLE REVIEWS.
