I am still at the beginning of my case but everything is happening pretty fast. The case manager was able to meet with me the day after I called. When we purchased our modular home, we signed an arbitration agreement with the company, meaning that if we had any problems with the builder, we agreed to mediation instead of legal action. This did not seem to be a big deal at the time, since the company guaranteed their workmanship and claimed cu...stomer satisfaction was their goal. We figured they would fix anything they needed to. Boy were we wrong. From the first day they delivered the home to our property, there were problems. Some problems were small, some were VERY BIG, some were dangerous. Faced with the legal repercussions of their illegal activity, the builder quickly paid off our loan, tore down the home, erasing any evidence of its existence on the property, and gave us a substantial settlement.
