Definitivamente no pierdan el tiempo, su dinero y su bienestar emocional. Debi haber hecho caso a los reviews. I hired Mr. Ortiz back in September 2015 a year later a I have to fired him because was done with my case, for a year I struggle to get any communication from him or his office, the only way I could information was by stop in by his office and waited for him to see me. He took my money didn't do anything and I could never get in touch with him, half of the time he was out of the country, don't waist your time with this guy.

He is a scam artist in all aspects. He sells himself as a caring honorable individual who served in the Army and is willing to help out a fellow veteran, but dont be fooled by his scam. He took my money did the bare minimum, He never informed me about anything no matter how many times I would call or... show up at his office. My court date was a surprice since I had to find out from my daughter the day before. He showed up late which really was appreciated by the Judge and finally he just stood there staring blankly. The divorce decree is half hand written and is so broad there might have been no decree at all. I have lost visitation time and my relationship with my daughter thanks Mr. Ortiz.

Mr. Ortiz is arrogant and hurts disabled veterans financially by keeping them in court. He sets up court dates and shows up late and has to reschedule. He is very arrogant, condescending and very unprofessional. When it comes to dealing with your family and your future during a divorce he does not ...care whom he hurts at the end other than he gets his money. This process was very stressful and his paralegal was not professional at all; careful x-wives he will ask you out on dates even though he is married with kids. My divorce paperwork was never typed up correctly, it was presented totally wrong in court due to this, I've never received copies of anything yet. It is my understanding the paralegal is the person that most of the contact is with, but his paralegal is not professional, not reliable, very unprofessional law office and staff! I would never or NOT recommend Mr. Miguel Ortiz to anyone. Careful soldiers and disabled veterans.

Mr. Ortiz presents himself very well initially but once you have paid to have him as your lawyer he fails to keep you informed on what is going on, when the next court dates are, and is very arrogant and condescinding if questions are asked that he feels you dont need to know. In any case dealing wit...h your family and your future during a divorce, no question should be beneath him because he your lawyer that you are paying. This process was very stressful and his parallegal was not professional at all! Several times I was not informed that I had a court date set. My babys father would ask me why we are going to court in a couple of days and of course I didn't even know we were scheduled to go to court. I'll call the office and not get a response. It's not unusual to wait days or weeks before someon...e calls me back!! Miguel is good in court. He knows how to represent you and very knowledgeable. But what if my babys dad never told me about court? Then I wouldve been absent for my hearing over my custody of my baby!!!!
