Most Effective

We had the pleasure of having Miguel Oritz represent us with our child custody case. He was extremely caring, personable, knowledgeable, professional, and best of all straightforward. Through out the entire time of service, he was always responsive and made time for office appointments. One of the m...ost valuable lessons we've learned is the need for an attorney who pays attention to details, thinks not only about the present, but the impact your current decisions will have in the future. Miguel does that! I’m not sure he sleeps much but his work ethic is on point! His team is just as supportive and responsive!

Arrogant and Unprofessional lawyer and Staff member!

Mr. Ortiz is arrogant and hurts disabled veterans financially by keeping them in court. He sets up court dates and shows up late and has to reschedule. He is very arrogant, condescending and very unprofessional. When it comes to dealing with your family and your future during a divorce he does not ...care whom he hurts at the end other than he gets his money. This process was very stressful and his paralegal was not professional at all; careful x-wives he will ask you out on dates even though he is married with kids. My divorce paperwork was never typed up correctly, it was presented totally wrong in court due to this, I've never received copies of anything yet. It is my understanding the paralegal is the person that most of the contact is with, but his paralegal is not professional, not reliable, very unprofessional law office and staff! I would never or NOT recommend Mr. Miguel Ortiz to anyone. Careful soldiers and disabled veterans.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
