No! Read this at length
I do NOT recommend this woman. Particularly at a vulnerable moment in your life. Kriebel was friendly when I first spoke with her. The very moment I retained her, her demeanor drastically changed. I have never been treated with so much contempt and condescension--e.g., she told me concerns were noth...
First of all, I have two children who are 30 and 25 years old. If I discuss my own personal legal battles it is to reassure the client that I empathize and understand the anxiety, stress and frustration that you are experiencing. Since I have been through a divorce and custody battle, I learned it from both the client's and attorney's perspective. Second, I keep track of my time. If you did not receive your $5000 back then the time was accounted for. What clients need to understand is that most of the legal work occurs outside of the courtroom. I have to draft and efile all the pleadings, motions and orders. There is discovery which can cost thousands and then document review. We have mediation which is usually 8 hours. Then finally update discovery, trial preparation and then trial, if you did not settle in mediation. I represent clients, particularly military, who live all over the world. They also never step foot in my office. Thanks to Covid, lawyers went to virtual and electronic communications and document exchange by email, google drive or some other cloud based service. As far as Law and Order, yes, Court is not like Law and Order. FYI, lawyers also hate ChatGPT. It gets it wrong all the time so please don't come to my office and say "well ChatGPT said...... after I give you legal advice. I have 22 years of real courtroom experience with the judges who sit on the bench. ChatGPT only has access to the laws but it doesn't have a clue as to how an individual judge will see your case. That's what you pay me for... my knowledge of the judges and system and the law. As far as the grievance, since you posted anonymously I cannot say if you ever filed your grievance. But I can say I do not have any pending and I am in good standing with the bar. I welcome anyone to check me out at the State Bar of Texas website where you can see who has been disciplined. I have not.

Huge lack of professionalism
This attorney showed up to my hearing unprepared (after paying her to prepare her self), did not keep me informed of my case, signed orders with the opponents lawyer and did not let me see them or even notify me of them. I asked her for my file and she actually lost it and found it a month and a half...
I am sorry you are not happy with my representation. Good communication is key in the attorney-client relationship. I encourage you to contact my office to discuss your concerns with me directly to see how I may better serve my clients in the future and if there is anything I can do to assist you with your case in the future.

Worst Lawyer in San Antonio... hands down
She is unprepared, disorganized, sends other clients information by accident to you which means she probably does the same with your information. Likes to talk about her personal life while the clock is running. When did I become her personal therapist, and get charged for it? She is always running l...
I'm sorry you were not happy with my representation but I am always prepared for my cases and conduct myself with professionalism and courtesy. Communicating your expectations at the beginning is the key to a successful attorney-client relationship. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact my office.

Run, don't walk
She is very unprofessional, she also sent to me another client's information complete with childrens' info as well. I told her about it and she said to just ignore it. She also confused me with another client and it ended up being a mess and a rush to fix it. I was also told in so many words to lo...
I am sorry you were not happy with my representation. Attorneys frequently run late for a variety of reasons, namely we are subject to the court's schedule, other client's run late, personal family emergencies, court/lawyer calls, etc. I am diligent in keeping in touch with my clients when I'm running late. I apologize if this inconvenienced you in any way. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact me directly. Thank you.

Bottom of the barrell
Absolutely the bottom of the barrel. I hired her, paid her $3,500 CASH cuz she doesn't take credit cards only to have her miss appointments, not call me back, talk on the phone during our appointments, she actually filed a Petition for ANOTHER client via e-file DURING A DEPOSITION. I was sitting righ...
I'm sorry you were not happy with my representation in your case. The dress attire in my office and for mediation and depositions is very casual, however I have not worn anything remotely showing my abs. When we defend a deposition we are essentially bystanders and have very little wiggle room to object. Depositions are for discovery purposes so they can ask any question which may lead to the discovery of relevant information for the case. As for the black eye, I was the victim of domestic violence. That relationship has been over for quite some time but the experience allows me to empathize with my clients who have also been victims of domestic violence. If you would like to discuss your concerns, please contact me. You have my cell phone number as do all my clients. Thank you.
