He was there for me when I needed him the most

I'm a survivor of domestic violence and my case was about to default anytime. I logged on to my computer at 9pm and frantically started looking at how I could file a response. I emailed several lawyers that night. Mr. Parker quickly responded that same night, out of the blue, and provided the link an...d info I needed to prevent my case from defaulting and losing my child. Good deeds should be rewarded, that's why I came here to file this review.

A Bite as Hard as the Bark and Performance with Dedication that Exceeded Expectations

In many ways, the work of an attorney in my opinion, is easy. They risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who often offer up their entire selves and expose vulnerability only for another they have never met make judgement based on an 3 page 8.5 x 11 summary of one’s serious and usually li...fe changing event. It further seems today’s society thrives on negative criticism, which seems fun to write and read via social media rendering verdicts of guilty in a “trial by Facebook” that are often lead by the ignorant and half based rumors. But the bitter truth when seeking judgment from a court, we must all face that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk handed up by some law intern is more meaningful than our own personal value we have designated it. However, there are times that a lawyer can truly risk something, and that is in the discovery and defense of something they themselves believe in. It is without question I have found that in an attorney from San Antonia, Texas. After multiple interviews with counsel across the state of Texas, it appeared futile to take on a school district, much less an established, self-righteous and arrogant one such as Plano. It has been proven to me that the world is often unkind when going against the grain of what is new or different; and easier for us to conform to society’s criticism or rules laid out before us that are vague, may no longer apply, or even maintain unintended interpretation. It is only with courage, self-confidence, dedication and a true understanding of the law for representation to take your valued event and make it their own. It is through the last 20 months that I am happy and relieved to have found Justin Nichols to take on this case on my son’s behalf; and lead it all the way to the Eastern District Court. He would not be bullied by an entire team of attorneys in or out of court, and he made sure we were all prepared. When it came to discussing the facts of the case, he knew them inside and out. This is all to often not the typical experience when it comes to a third party interpretation of events and usually only reserved for Emmy nominations from a movie. It is no secret that it takes a lot in this day and age to impress me; much less as a parent put my trust in someone who has control over my son’s future. I am so glad I did and allowed myself to take it as far as Justin said he was willing to go. I would like to take credit in finding a hidden gem amongst a pile of rocks; but Justin’s shine is bright and already been seen by many. I would not recommend any one else and so happy and relieved I was connected with him. Aaron Vann Vs. Plano Independent School District

Mr. Justin Nichols was absolutely superb in his leadership and expertise on our case! We employed him for over four years on some thorny, high profile issues, and he "dug in" and provided effective, calming, and targeted guidance with aplomb!! He is, without question, the finest, most prepared, legal... representative we've ever known! When a former Judge, and opposing counsel, say "you've got the best", it certainly rang true for us, throughout our total experience!!!

The BEST, My Attorney for life if another need arises!

After beginning my divorce proceeding with another Attorney, I found myself frustrated with the lack of communication and service. A friend referred Justin Nichols and everything changed for the better. I had a consultation and felt instantly that I had come to the right place. He handled my divor...ce proceedings in a way that took so much stress and pressure off my shoulders. Justin explained the legal process, what to expect moving forward and eased my worries and gave me the confidence and assurance that I was missing. He ALLOWED me to ask all the questions I was hesitant about, LISTENED to my wants, and ASSURED me the legal process would protect me. He also also explained his billing procedures and fully understood how I would be charged BEFORE I left the consultation. With finances being important to me, I was pleasantly surprised that the billing was ON POINT. 100% fair, detailed invoices so it was easy for me to keep up with where retainer was being applied. His Paralegal, Kimberly, has a heart of gold like him, is compassionate, and was always quick to respond to calls or emails with the answers I needed. My Attorney for life, should another need ever arise.

Justice served!

Justin Nichols was the best possible choice in my family law and child custody battle. I wish I had contracted him earlier in the process. After racking up a ludicrous bill with another local law firm, and making relatively no progress after 10 weeks of pain and suffering, I contacted Justin for a c...onsultation. I hired him on the spot and released the other law firm. He jumped right in and ran with the whole case immediately as if he had been my attorney the entire time. My situation involved a highly contested child custody matter that involved multiple accounts of mediation, formal and evidentiary hearings, and an all-out battle with my ex’s attorneys. On the sensitive back end he juggled my LGBT needs on top of escalating issues that were a result of my newly diagnosed HIV status. Justin’s knowledge of the law is impressive and indisputable. He championed my cause with well studied legal, empirical and proven scientific data. Justin Nichols is a force to be reckoned with and his Texas tough attitude was made abundantly clear through emails, in trial, during mediation and in disputes. He refused to bow down to coercion and threats from the opposition. He is a no-nonsense litigator and proved that he knows case law and the legal system better than others during his head-to-head showdowns in the courtroom. I was unjustly accused and being extorted by my ex while my daughter was being withheld from me against her will. I was the underdog in the situation and Justin turned the entire ordeal around with a victory every turn of the way. He waged a valiant assault against my naysayers and struck back with military-like strategy and precision. Justin exhibited total badassery during every moment of representing me and in getting my daughter back into my arms. He treated me like a close friend and as a highly valued client during the entire process. He was in regular and constant contact and provided amazing details and explanations during the many long hours he invested into my cause. Justin was considerate, sensitive and mindful of even the most minuscule details, and he attached himself to my case personally and professionally. The efforts to get my daughter back into my arms was a case about “us” which included my daughter, Justin and me. I never once felt alone and he was always out in front on the battlefield protecting me. Justin even had to ask me to “trust” him on multiple occasions when I was worrying myself sick…and he always came through. He cared tremendously about my daughter and me both and is one of the true good guys and a superhero in his profession. Justin handled my cause with honor, fairness and pride. He performed above and beyond the call of duty and expectation. I firmly believe that no one else would have been able to prevail and bring home the victories that he did. I am eternally grateful for Justin Nichols and his relentless pursuit of justice. His triumph in our case brought this loving father and daughter back together.

"It is my pleasure to endorse attorney Justin Nichols. I worked with him on tough divorce case and he proved to be the consummate professional. It was clear to me throughout the case that he is smart, well-prepared and fights hard for his client's objectives, yet does so in a manner that doesn't create conflict with opposing counsel that only makes it harder to move the case forward. Anyone looking for a high-caliber attorney would do well to discuss their case with Justin Nichols before making a decision on who to hire."

"I am an attorney-mediator in the DFW area and recently had the opportunity to mediate a divorce case for Justin. I was very impressed with his advocacy skills, preparation, knowledge of the law, and true compassion for his client. Divorces are difficult on their best day, and mediations are extremely emotional for the parties. Justin was able to balance being a strong advocate for his client while also being realistic and empathetic for his client's needs. I enjoyed working with Justin and hope to have the opportunity to mediate for him again."
