Diane Martinez

Diane Martinez was appointed Amicus on my case. I provided several concerns to her with several alarming pictures. She did absolutely nothing about it and even actually recommended the other party as a great parent for Primary Custody. Well Five years later my daughter was severely abused by the othe...r party she highly recommended as Primary Custodian, and is now indicted on Child Abuse charges awaiting trial. The physical/emotional abuse my daughter suffered all because this lady only cares about money/politics! Thank God my daughter didn't die or commit suicide!!!!! She should not ever be allowed to be an Amicus!

Repeatedly denied an appointment in 3 years only met with me 2 intake and when my lawyer got involved. Child reported assault to the school and parent was federal convicted and Diane still said child should go with that parent, she was catch name calling me in text message we showed the judge and she... said the text messages were fake and tried getting the other person to lie for her and they didn’t show up to testify for her. The child has even said she is ‘cringy’ and doesn’t like her. Diane try to make it sound like they are buddies and she know the child better than her parents. She is great at extorting clients for money and horrible at her job, and is extremely two faced. It’s on record in the court’s transcripts you can check my review creditable and know it’s not exaggerated or slander. This type of behavior needs to be known.

Diane does not communicate with you despite numerous phone calls and messages. I had hired her for my divorce and I absolutely could not get ahold of her until another professional contacted her and told her they were going to report her to the bar if she didn't meet meet with me. I was to go to cour...t within two weeks and I still hadn't even met her. She wouldn't return my calls or respond to my emails. After I met with her, she essentially ignored me. I paid $2,500 to have her represent me and she didn't.

Diane assurred me should would take care of custody issue after had sole custody of my son for 10 years and got sued by grandparents once the child's father wss arrested for unpaid support. Diane was completely unprepared, absolutely no match for the other attorney, and failed to file an appeal after... the presiding judge made orders although there was not agreement by both parties. Still tied up in court 3 years later as a result of the poor manner Diane handled case initially. Could not get calls returned, did not file documents timely and kept entire retainer after first hearing and firing her to retain someone else. If your not willing to risk your money, custodial situation and rights on Diane, go somewhere else.

I hired Ms. Rivera to handle a fairly simple custody modification. She almost never returned my phone calls or e-mails and did nothing on my case. She lied about filing and having a court date. When I went to fire her, she was not in the office (which seems fairly typical for her.) I never heard from... her again and did not get any type of refund for my retainer even though she did nothing on my case. I have known a few other women who have used her and they all stated that they had the same problem. I would not recommend using Ms. Rivera.
