Mr. Hollis successfully defended a student's interests in what seemed to be an impossible situation

I hired Mr. Hollis to represent my daughter's interests when she was a student in one of San Antonio high schools. The case was complicated as I confronted an experienced, long-tenured teacher who had never had complaints in her career. I had a lot of documentation: emails from myself, from the tutor... I hired for my daughter, requests to meet the teacher, copies of tests, etc. But what I struggled with is to create a narrative would illustrate that the teacher showed absolutely no interest in my daughter's improvement and that her grade suffered due to lack of teacher's support and attention. Mr. Hollis created a powerful narrative, supported by his extensive knowledge of laws and regulations, to highlight inappropriate actions and negligence of the teacher. As a result, we filed a strong complaint to the state board of educators: it was factual, supported by a compelling evidence, and it was respectful to the teacher in tone. To sum it up, my daughter's grade was adjusted and the teacher was counseled on that matter. The grade adjustment helped a lot as she was applying to colleges and her GPA could have suffered greatly. We were very fortunate to find Mr. Hollis who successfully advocated on our behalf.
