DO NOT USE DIANA FLOYD

Do not Use her as your lawyer , she refused to fight for my fiancés case making her sign 5 years of probation didn’t show up to court for the hearing to represent her. The judge waived her right to a retrial. Then my fiance was picked up on a fta even though she was present and left the court house ...because they were revoking her probation before it even began. They were bringing up a charge over 8 years ago that she already did time for . The bond picked her up last night so I called Diana to let her know and to request her to put in a motion to reduce the bond SET for $100,000 and she cussed me out on the phone telling me she doesn’t have to talk to me because I’m not her client and why am I contacting her on a Saturday. She has not even taken the time to review my fiancés case through this whole process she kept pushing off talking to her because she has more important cases. Which is why she was not present at court. Then proceeded to tell me on the phone in a rude manner well you can put money on the phone so she can call me from the jail that’s what you can do.

Poor professionalism

She didn’t file paperwork correctly and “forgot” very important details of the case in the paperwork. She didn’t consult until the day before court and never answered the phone when calling. Very poor professionalism!

Poor attorney

She never followed up or followed through. Always wanted to talk the day before court date and always stated she was always busy and had lots of appointments and would say she would meet with you at this time and then say I didn’t tell you that time I told you this time. At one point she said since y...ou’re not happy with my service, I am going to do motion for withdrawal wasn’t notified until she said no longer your attorney by text. Very horrible and reported to Texas state bar

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
