A 1989 graduate of Texas Tech University, Jay worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., before entering the Baylor University School of Law. Since his law school graduation in 1993, Jay has spent the vast majority of his legal career in the courtroom prosecuting criminal offenses. In his well over 100 jury trials, Jay successfully prosecuted all types of cases from DWI's and drug possession to the more complicated and emotional cases for the Brazos County District Attorney's office in sexual assaults, murders and capital murders.
