Mr. Greaves is fantastic. I am in the medical field and any type of alcohol related offense can be a serious nightmare. Mr. Greaves was with me the whole time. Our daughter was charged with Driving While Intoxicated a little over a year and a half ago. We called a family friend who’s son had been arrested a few years earlier and asked who he used for an attorney. Without missing a beat he said “Craig Greaves is the man you want”. I called Mr. Greaves’s offi...ce and spoke with his legal assistant to schedule a consultation. When my daughter and wife arrived to speak with Mr. Greaves about her DWI, he was able to phone conference me during the meeting while I was out of town on business. He was very patient and caring with our family. He took the time to answer each of our questions thoroughly and without all of the lawyer lingo other lawyers try and throw at you to show how impressive they are. He spent over an hour answering our questions and explaining the legal process. After speaking with Mr. Greaves we were sure we had found the right man to represent our daughter. During the legal proceedings Mr. Greaves would take the time to speak with us after each hearing to explain what the next step would be. After what felt like forever, the day came to go to trial or take a deal. Mr. Greaves was able to work out a deal that would have the least impact on our daughters life so she decided to take the plea deal and avoid going to trial. Since then, I have recommended Mr. Greaves twice to other parents who’s children messed up.

About 3 years ago I was arrested for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. When asked by the arresting officer if I would consent to give a sample of my breath or blood, I screwed up and consented to a blood draw. When my blood test results came back as a .169 (...more than twice the legal limit), I thought there was no way of out of a DWI conviction and I just needed to plead guilty and be done with it. However, Craig encouraged me to take my case to jury trial and I am so thankful that he did! On December 16, 2015 a Brazos County Jury found me NOT GUILTY of DWI. This result would not have been possible without Craig's guidance, support, abilities and courtroom expertise. He definitely delivered what I paid for and far exceeded my own expectations. I would highly recommend Craig to any person that needs assistance in a criminal matter. Furthermore, I want to mention that I have read the disparaging comments about Craig posted by two individuals on this site and I highly doubt their interpretation are true. I found Craig to be highly professional, highly skilled and always just a phone call, text or email away if I ever needed to communicate with him. In fact, I remember many times him returning my calls late into the night. Admittedly, I don't know the two individuals that have made these negative comments about Craig, but it seems to me that those persons are the kind that always want to blame others for their own self created problems. The kind of people that were way too concerned about hearing themselves talk that they didn't take the time to listen to the straight forward, clear and concise advise that Craig was trying to give them.

I spoke with Mr. Greaves regarding my legal issue years ago up front and came to the understanding that he was the right lawyer for my case. Before getting started he explained what I should expect from the State, the length of time things would take place, and the potential cost involved. He was ope...n and honest and left little to the imagination to sit and worry about. He was approachable at all times and even compassionate towards my concerns. Craig spoke to me as a human being and as a friend that he was trying to help, not another "criminal" to be looked down upon. When we finally arrived at my trial date, as he had been in all the other meetings, he was prompt, prepared, and well organized. The trial itself was an unpleasant experience that I brought upon myself, but Craig was able to secure the correct verdict and I would recommend any one , and have, to meet with Craig before deciding on any trial lawyer in the area. His staff is thoughtful and efficient, his billing is flexible and accurate, and his knowledge of the law and trial demeanor are 1st rate. Craig will explain what to expect, not always sugar coat it, and will be honest and forthcoming with all information.
