My husband drives a panel van for work and was speeding on the BW when pulled over. It was during construction and there was no shoulder to pull over to when my husband realized he was being pulled over and attempted to find a safe place to pull off when the Constable tried to PIT maneuver him so he ...stopped in the middle of the traffic lane on the big bridge. He was confronted with a drawn handgun and arrested for evading. They went less than a half mile from where the office was positioned and stopped in the roadway. This is a felony charge and my husband has a clear record, 1 traffic ticket when he was in his 20s. We hired Paul at the recommendation of my MIL who was working with him on a Family Law case separately. He was paid well over 20k dollars for both cases. THE WHOLE TIME HE HAS BEEN DEALING WITH US HE WAS UNDER ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW FOR FALSIFYING EVIDENCE WITH THE TEXAS STATE BAR. He did NOTHING to resolve the case pre court date and always gave us a run around about the "dash cam video" not being "found" by the Constable's office. He called the night before court and said my husband would have to take a plea deal. We said absolutely not. Well the next day when he finally saw the footage the Judge threw out the case. This was May 11th last year. 2 days later his law license was suspended. He called us on May 13th and ILLEGALLY OBTAINED another 3500 without knowing he had no law license we gave it to him for expunction. 6 months later the case wasn't expunged causing us to have to file a complaint with https://www.texasbar.com/Content/NavigationMenu/ForThePublic/ProblemswithanAttorney/GrievanceEthicsInfo1/File_a_Grievance.htm Needless to say he lied in his response to the Bar, but we will not give up. It is about the money, but way more about the fact he MISREPRESENTED himself as a lawyer the entire time. PS he completely dropped my MIL family law case and has done NOTHING and took her money. She will file a complaint and I suggest if he took advantage of you you also file so he can't get that license back and behave this way any longer.

Paul was hired to defend me in a criminal matter. He failed to present a Grand Jury packet on my behalf which led to my indictment. Paul did fax a letter to the district attorney's office the day of my Grand Jury hearing. This letter was faxed at 2:45pm when my hearing was at 10am. A faxed letter ...has never been acceptable as a Grand jury packet. So in short he left me with absolutely no defense causing me to be indicted.
