Kristina Renee Dicke Lucas

Hello and thank you for checking out my AVVO profile! I have been practicing law for almost 20 years. I am a solo practicing attorney and mediator who has worked exclusively in family law throughout my career. As a new attorney I worked for the Galveston County District Attorney's office in the family law section prosecuting child abuse and domestic violence cases. After a few years, I went into private practice and have helped clients with divorce and custody matters for the last seventeen years. I often work as an Amicis Attorney representing the best interests of children in custody and adoption cases. I have also been a family law mediator for seventeen years and have helped hundreds of litigants successfully settle their cases without need of costly court proceedings. As a happily married wife of almost 30 years, mother of two, one of 11 siblings, daughter of divorced parents and most importantly, committed believer, family is my priority. I do this work because I believe so strongly in family but also realize the inevitability of divorce. My hope is to help ease the stress of this difficult life event by helping clients and children navigate the process in the healthiest way possible.
