We started my wife’s process four years ago to go from DACA to Permanent Resident. Mr. Ruiz has represented us very well for the last four years. The single-most valuable thing I appreciate about this man is he picks up the phone and answers it every time we call him - and if he missed the call he... always responds in a timely manner. We are in Juarez for the final step of the process. My wife went into the consulate interview, and she was by far the most prepared applicant in her group. We saw many other couples who got denied - one couple got denied and sanctioned for 10 years, and she had to fly home without her husband. During our process, the consulate had lost one of our forms - my form 864 Affadavit. Mr. Ruiz answered my phone calls immediately, sent me the missing documents immediately, and we got the file updated. (we discovered proof later the consulate did indeed have the paperwork the whole time, the officer had overlooked it). Mr. Ruiz and his staff kept us better organized than the consulate, and that’s the truth. We were the most prepared couple here in Juarez, and in a process notorious for its hiccups and unexpected twists, he got us through all of it. There were bumps in the road for us, all of which were due to consulate errors, and the nature of the process. We fully intend to use him again when we need him.
