Mr. Rocha was raised in Weslaco, Texas. He moved to Houston in 1990. Mr. Rocha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rice University. Prior to practicing law, he worked in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry as a project engineer. He focused on process safety management and data management software development. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Rocha was a member of Law Review, and he was a member of the 2001 Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court National Championship team.
Mr. Rocha practiced intellectual property litigation in the Houston office of Jenkens & Gilchrist P.C. His practice centered on disputes concerning patent infringement, trademark opposition and cancellation, copyright infringement and trade secret misappropriation. In 2004, Mr. Rocha began his solo practice as principal of The Rocha Law Firm, PLLC. Mr. Rocha has an active practice providing legal services to small business owners and entrepreneurs. His areas of practice include business formations, contract law, intellectual property and civil litigation.

He is a past director of the Rice Engineering Alumni Board of Directors and served as the chairman of the New Members committee. He is also a member of the Rice University Houston 2.0 steering committee. In addition, he donates his time and service to local charities. He has also participated in the BP MS150 bike ride from Houston to Austin in support of the National MS Society.

Mr Rocha was retained to handle some business cases whereas he failed to show up on trial in most of the cases and now were having to hire an appeals atty to reverse the judgements levied on our corporation and bankupcty is not an option to mitigate damages caused by this attorney.
