David Lee Pettus

KPRC 2 (local TV channel) exposes David Lee Pettus in 3 different news stories specifically about him this year (2024). I was a client of his in 2008. And, I had a feeling way back then that I would live to regret that decision. Needless to say, I regret that decision, as I now see that he did not... do right by me.

We hired this individual after we were involved in a car accident in 2021. A few months later, we learned that this man "settled" our case with our insurer without our permission. As soon as he received our settlement check, we could not get in contact with him. He wouldn't answer any of our phone... calls and emails. Now two years later, we have not received one dime from this "lawyer." We filed a grievance against him late last year and soon found out that we were one of many that had done the same thing. You're better off getting legal representation from a two year old.

This man called me after being in a wreck. Like a fool I hired him. July 19th was my wreck. He has since started receiving checks. Some monies that don't even belong to him. Now he never answers, It's like he got money and forget my client. Hospital calls wanting money he received to pay them but has... not. Now it's going to collections and nothing I can do. He sits on quite a bit right now that belongs to me. Help!!!!!
