Chambers County charges.

Mr Agnew worked on my case, he kept me informed. I was extremely pleased with his ability to cover the case and deal with the DA office. Thank you Mr Agnew for you service.

Thorough and will not be bullied

A former employer of mine decided to make threats that could have cost me my professional license. At first I was devastated. After one meeting with Mr. Agnew I was assured that this matter was simply a scare tactic and could be resolved without having to appear in court. At first, I was a bit ske...ptical at how easy he made it sound. However, Mr. Agnew promptly responded to the accusations with a well versed letter. Upon receiving the letter, the accusers decided to stop further action. In short, Mr. Agnew gave me peace of mind and helped maintain my reputation. Thank you again, Mr. Agnew.

A very talented criminal attorney

I worked in the State Court system for over 41 years and have seen many, many attorneys practice in our court. We tried cases from capital murder to juvenile matters. Mr. Agnew is, in my opinion, one of the best criminal attorneys in the East Texas area. He always has client's best interest in mind.... He has a strong background in criminal law. He was an assistant district attorney at one time and fully understands how the process works. A lot of defendants are like sick people when they go to a doctor, it's kind of hard for them to swallow the medicine. Mr. Agnew shoots straight and tells it like it is. His recommendations aren't watered down or come with a lot of sugar to make it taste better. Believe me, he truly is recommending what is the best thing for his client. And if that client does not accept that recommendation, he will still go to bat for them and do whatever is legally possible to make sure their rights are protected. If I had a matter pending before a court, I would not hesitate to call Mr. Agnew to represent me.

An Honest, Hard-Working Attorney and Down to Earth Human Being

Bill Agnew was one of the first referrals we received for attorneys in the area. We were at a loss as to what to do and where to turn in such a rough time. Our family lives on a fixed income, and needless to say, legal battles do not exactly fit in with that situation. We contacted Bill and he wa...s quick to return our call, prices were discussed and we were encouraged to shop around and to see if we could find something that fit our situation better. After a very discouraging meeting with a very arrogant, self-absorbed, and expensive defense attorney in the Nacogdoches area, we left the office feeling scared and almost hopeless. We were told that the case could be taken on with a 3500.00 retainer and would go up from there, not including court costs. One day and one call later we were meeting with Bill, paying only a fraction of the retainer, and feeling very encouraged that the case was not the end of the road, but merely a bump in it. Bill has fulfilled every aspect of what he told us the very first meeting, he worked out a deal with the prosecutor not because he had to, but because he knew how. He has the knowledge and experience from working both sides of these cases to give you an accurate idea of what can be done, what is the best choice for you to make. Ultimately he guides you in the direction he thinks you should go, what your best and easiest outcome will be, but the decision is yours to make. A decision of Bill Agnew as your attorney is a good one to make, in my opinion; he's an honest and caring human being who is dedicated to his clients and his community. I would highly reccommend him to anyone that needed the services of a defense attorney.
