I paid this lady to work on my case. We had an initial meeting of course and she laid out what she would be able to do for me. I paid the retainer fee and she got to work, or so I thought. 8 months later the only thing that she could show me was an email that she sent to my ex’s lawyer. She claimed u...p and down that she contacted the attorney general and sent correspondence, but she couldn’t show me proof. She sent me a bill, I called and left a message with her secretary and 4 weeks later no call back. She really is a no good person and lawyer.

I hate this lawyer and what she did to my family. I urge people to please turn away!!! I had a custody case in 2014 and she didn't follow the law, she just lied about everything, to get me to pay more money. In the end she made everything worse. She ruined my daughter's life! Its been 3 years and the... effect she's had was monstrous! Worst Family Lawyer Ever!!!

I had a very complicated custody situation that started in June of 2014. At the time I had a different lawyer and wished I would have found Ms. Dawson sooner. I hired her in January of 2016 and she is still my current family lawyer. She has worked on my case day and night and day after day; even on w...eekends and holidays. This is more than I would have ever expected. She is very knowledgeable and well versed in Family Law. She used all the information I gave her to build the best case for me. She communicated with me constantly through email, text, or phone calls. I was always up to date on what was happening in my case. Even when I would get frustrated with the process Ms. Dawson would take the time to explain everything to me and advise me on what the next steps would be. She is very strong in the court room and presenting all the facts. She is very fair and very honest. She never gave me false hopes. She always prepared me for the worse as you never know what will happen once all the facts are laid out by the parties involved. When the day finally came for her to present my case in front of the judge she was outstanding. Luckily for me I had a lawyer who included me in the entire process and listened to me and used all the facts to represent me. Ms. Dawson took on two opposing council lawyers and their psychologist, a pro se biological father, and was able to communicate with the Amicus on the case. Needless to say Ms. Dawson was able to get me Sole custody of my daughter. She was fierce and relentless! I could have not asked for a better lawyer. I will advise that not all the cases are the same and not all outcomes will always be what we want. This is what Ms. Dawson taught me. She never let me get my hopes up but she never let me give up. We all worked very hard to build the strongest case possible. As she told me only I know the real story and I had to give her everything for her to be able to represent me. She is worth every penny. I would recommend her to anybody and everybody who needs a strong family attorney!

Mrs. Dawson went for several months without responding to phone calls. She couldn't remember details relevant to the case due to lack of communication. Specifically she forgot information relevant to back child support. Not only was she unavailable for questions, she left out information in the fin...al documents relevant to tax information. I never received copies of final documentation reguarding my case.
