I had a very complicated custody situation that started in June of 2014. At the time I had a different lawyer and wished I would have found Ms. Dawson sooner. I hired her in January of 2016 and she is still my current family lawyer. She has worked on my case day and night and day after day; even on w...eekends and holidays. She communicated with me constantly through email, text, or phone calls. I was always up to date on what was happening in my case. Even when I would get frustrated with the process Ms. Dawson would take the time to explain everything to me and advise me on what the next steps would be. When the day finally came for her to present my case in front of the judge she was outstanding. Luckily for me I had a lawyer who included me in the entire process and listened to me and used all the facts to represent me. Ms. Dawson took on two opposing council lawyers and their psychologist, a pro se biological father, and was able to communicate with the Amicus on the case. Needless to say Ms. Dawson was able to get me Sole custody of my daughter. She was fierce and relentless! I could have not asked for a better lawyer. I will advise that not all the cases are the same and not all outcomes will always be what we want. This is what Ms. Dawson taught me. She never let me get my hopes up but she never let me give up. We all worked very hard to build the strongest case possible. As she told me only I know the real story and I had to give her everything for her to be able to represent me. She is worth every penny. I would recommend her to anybody and everybody who needs a strong family attorney!
