I hired this attorney over a decade ago for a custody case, and to this day, it remains one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. Ra...ther than challenge anything, she simply accepted the other side’s proposal — a supervised visitation schedule on a step program — without pushing back or explaining my options. It felt like I had no representation at all. The outcome left me sidelined in my child’s life and has had long-term emotional consequences for both of us. Looking back, I regret trusting someone who treated my case like it didn’t matter. If you’re looking for someone who will actually fight for you, keep looking. Fathers — especially young ones — deserve better advocacy.

I was very pleased with the service Mrs. Curtis did for me. I was only getting $250.00 a month child support and she got it raised to $870.00 a month. She always called me to let me know what the other attorney was offering and gave me a chance to decide if I agreed. I even got 6 months of back pay. ... I have no complaints.

I contracted Ms. Curtis to handled my child custody.,and I felt like she was representing my the other attorney not me . I am having a hard time talking to her, and when I did I gave her all the required docs she still never help . I had to pay a fine to the other attorney I don't know why ... because she never wanted to help. it is confusing since she does not help at all. It was extremely difficult to reach her because I was told she was in court or on a phone call. She make agreements without me being present. I found out about my court dates by looking on the internet. She just will not communicate. Her assistant is also very rude to me every time I called. I intend to file an official complaint against her. Do not use her.

I hired Mrs. Curtis for a custody case. She was never available to speak with, either in court or away for some reason. Never knew when our court date was so I had to look it up online. We attended mediation, the location changed twice and she never informed us, her staff did the morning of mediation..., she was 20 minutes late to mediation, she didn't have my evidence against the other parent written up in the proper form and she was more concerned about her personal issues than what was going on during mediation. I knew more about what was going on than she did. Every time the lawyer who was conduction the mediation asked a question, Mrs. Curtis would look at me and I would have to respond. At the end of mediation, I walked away with far less than I paid her for and it was all because she just didn't have time to fight for me and my child. I will never use her again and I suggest you never use her as your attorney as well.
