DON'T TRUST HER

**** PLEASE READ! DONT HIRE HER! **** DONT TRUST HER! *** She should NOT be allowed to practice law! She put me in a worse case than I was when I hired her for my Child Custody case. She is NOT Professional. She would place blame on me for her lack of accountability. She could BARELY REMEMBER any pr...ior details on my case. I paid her $5,000 to retain her " BIGGEST MISTAKE" and she ran through that money, all the while NOT Listening to my concerns & then telling me to stay out HER WAY IN MY CASE! She only cares about TAKING YOUR MONEY! She went to court with a "CHEAT SHEET" when trying to give a reason for HER OBJECTIONS. I literally had to show HER what to reference while IN COURT. **** She withdrew herself from my Child Custody Case before even going to trial. **** It took me hounding her office to set a hearing date & she would blame me usually for not keeping the trust overly funded. ** I ALWAYS KEPT FUNDS IN THE TRUST ** I have paid HER almost $10,000 and she DIDN'T even stay long enough to see it through to my hearing date for the Child Custody Case. *** SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE WITHDREW, INITIALLY FOR LACK OF PAYMENT, THEN I HAD TO PROVIDE PROOF THAT I HAD PAID HER*** SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CASE. Even out of complete desperation, I would ADVISE ANYONE to use Google or Artificial Intelligence, rather than throwing away your money to someone who lacks compassion. She didn't even have the COMMON COURTESY to let me know that she was no longer representing me, I found out because I was checking my case online. Once I asked for explanation, she told me to give her MORE MONEY after she "FOUND MY FUNDS". Thank GOD that she is out of my case so now I have a chance to crawl out of the hole that she kept throwing dirt into. I HOPE THAT THIS WILL HELP EVEN ONE PERSON FROM FALLING VICTIM!

Great lawyer!

Georgia took her time talk to me and made me feel comfortable about using her. She did an extremely good job at getting the full custody of both of my boys!! I would recommend her to anybody

Would definitely hire Georgia again!

I hired Georgia for my SACPR case and I was extremely impressed with her representation. Georgia is very professional and worked very hard to settle my case quickly. We began my case in the middle of August and it was final by October 20th. Georgia is very straight forward and is very honest about... what can and can't be achieved. She doesn't sugar coat anything, and will not waste her time on things that cannot be accomplished. Georgia is also very straight forward about what she charges for and will send you an email invoice for EXACTLY everything she has done each week (you want this!) She also refunded me what was left over in my trust fund account at the end of my case. What I was impressed with the most was the fact that Georgia did not promote fighting between my son's father and I. She always suggested that we stay calm, play nice, and work things out peacefully. Most lawyers want you to push and fight with the other party so they can drag out your case and make more money! Georgia understands that this is not healthy for your children and really looks out for their best interest.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
