David L Martindale

David L. Martindale has practiced law for over 40 years successfully representing individuals, businesses, Fortune 500 companies and governmental bodies in both criminal and civil trials as well as complex business transactions. While Mr. Martindale’s primary focus is on representing individuals and small businesses, he has worked extensively for independent and major oil companies in litigation and disputes involving alleged environmental issues, alleged exposures to radiation from oil and gas production, land title and lease issues, eminent domain, personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has also negotiated and structured a number of domestic acquisitions and joint ventures for small to midsized companies.

Mr. Martindale has written and lectured on legal topics relating primarily to radioactive material associated with oil and gas production, lawyer civility and complex litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Mississippi State Bar Association.

He earned his B.S. in 1971 from Texas Tech University, and his J.D. in 1974 from Texas Tech University.  He was elected and served as County Attorney of Gray County, Texas from 1978 through 1981. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas and Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas, the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
