Thirteen months ago my son was arrested on a serious felony charge. Unfortunately for him, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was innocent of the charges, but now we had to prove it. We were at the mercy of the court to assign his attorney, who turned out to be Jeremy Ducote. After r...esearching to learn what I could about this defense attorney I felt we'd been blessed and fortunate to be assigned Jeremy. My son asked him if it made a differnce in how he would represent him, being court appointed rather than a 'paying client'. Jeremy assured him he would fight just as hard for him court appointed or not. He proved that to be true over and over thoughout the 13 months. As a mother, I worried and fretted over my sons future and what was to come. I phoned, text, and emailed him frequently and he always responded with compassion and understanding and always went above and beyond. The first time I saw him in the courtroom, interacting with the prosecutor and her team, I was impressed. He was confident, tough, and ready to fight to the bitter end. It was obvious he was well respected by his peers and I knew then my son was in good hands. It was a long year and I was right.......my son was in good hands.....his charges were dismissed. I will always be grateful and will never forget Jeremy for all that he did. Words can never express the admiration and respect felt by myself and my family. I would recommend Jeremy to anyone who may find themselves in a position to need a defense attorney. In my opinion and my families opinion, he is the best there is. Thank you Jeremy, I will be forever thankful.

I have worked for attorneys for several years, and while I do not need an attorney, my sister, unfortunately has. However, I, nor my family, could be any happier than what he has done thus far. He truly knows what he is doing and will not just throw an offer out there to "close the case". He takes th...e time to review discovery and and the law pertaining to it. He doesn't make you feel like a horrible person and truly does his best to help the situation. Would I recommend him? Absolutely. Attorney's are always busy and people need to realize that they cannot stop and just talk to or email on every question. I personally am ok with that; however, when it comes to the big issues, he has your back and will work through them with you, so that you understand what is going on with your case and explain it so you feel confident with the hard decisions that must be made.
