Ronique Bastine Robinson

Ronique was my divorce lawyer and knows her craft, to the letter of the law. She answered every question I had and was very upfront with what my likely outcome would be. During those difficult times in life, she was by my side the entire process. I am now a little over 3 years removed from my divo...rce and she still makes herself available to answer any lingering issues I may have. I am the youngest son of three boys and a product of a blended family. Born and raised in Third Ward. My father and mother both had a child before they came together to have me. They were both high school dropouts and teenage parents that came from large families. My father was 1 to 15 and my mother ...was 1 of 9. Even though they grew up poor and lacked financial resources, they were rich in love. My parents loved me in a way that is uncommon today. They were like potters. With great skill my father molded and shaped me in to the man he aspired to be. He did this by giving me love and discipline in a loving but firm manner. My mother’s love was applied like the appropriate amount of moisture to the mix. Her goal was to shape me into a man that would be the perfect husband and father: loving, kind, fair, fearless, hardworking, tender and compassionate. I was brought up in a family were love came in all forms and sometimes it was in the form of a spanking with a belt. This type of love allowed me to become the person I am today: proud father of 7, rising star at a global insurance company, international public speaker and life coach. Many people thought I was crazy for marring a woman with 4 kids. Nevertheless, I could see past the cost and complexity of a blended family to the beauty of a large productive family with the ability to change the world. On 6/23/2013, our family’s life came to a screeching halt. A series of events lead to the police coming to our home to mediate between my wife and I. During the conversation with the officer, we told them earlier in the day two children were spanked for a series of things that had taken place. One of my sons had been lying, stealing and blaming others for his actions. It was not my intention to leave mark on him while giving him a spanking but that resulted in me be arrested and charged with injury to a child under 15. The court restricted me from coming to my home for months at a time. After going to court for months with an attorney I thought was upright, I found out he was fighting his own charges for embezzlement. Not having the funds to fight the charges I took Deferred Adjudication at the direction of my attorney. My attorney said this shouldn’t affect my securities licenses. This was not the case. I lost my Series 6 and almost my job as a result of losing this license. I spent a few weeks in jail, paid $500 in fines, completed 200 hours of community service and completed a family services training course within 4 months of my 5-year probationary period. This was a challenge for the whole family because my wife was pregnant and we had two toddlers in our home. Later I was restricted access to my biological children. I though all hope was lost and that no one would understand or be able to help to help my family. All that changed when I spoke with Ronique. Within the first 5 min of speaking with her, she provided an expert diagnosis of my current situation and wrote a prescription for the cure. I didn’t know whether to cry or leap for joy. After reading the Motion she wrote on my behalf, I felt like Moses when he was holding the first set of Commandments written by GOD’s own hand. It was as if GOD penned/typed the words I was reading. It was truly a work of art and it was as if GOD inspired her to present me to the court the way everyone I know a love view me. It was unfortunate that I didn’t have her the first time I went to court; nonetheless, our family has grown as a result of this event in our lives. We were blessed to have Ronique come into our lives. She was the answer to my prayers!

It's very hard to find a great attorney. My husband and I went through 3 attorneys before we found Ronique. After we hired her, we felt very confident and less worrisome. To this day Ronique will still be there for us at any time we when need advice. She's a very sweet and genuine person and doesn't ...just want your money. She actually cares and is very knowledgable with the law and will give you her best legal advice. Going forth in the future, she will be the only attorney we hire. We would recommend her to anyone.
