Stefanie Michele Gonzalez

Stefanie M. Gonzalez has built a reputation for herself since she was licensed 15 years ago in Texas. Her
approach to all cases is centered on the individual client and seeking the best outcome for their
individual case. Over the years, the practice has grown from a solo practice to a law firm with 3
locations. The firm handles cases in several different courts and include civil, personal injury (auto
accidents), family adoptions and criminal cases.

She is a native of Houston, where she grew up in the Heights area. She worked full-time while attending
the University of Houston, where she graduated Cum Laude with honors before pursuing her law
degree at Texas Tech University School of Law. While still a student, Gonzalez gained valuable
experience as an intern with diverse law firms and also in state and federal courts. She worked with the
Harris County District Attorney’s Office, practicing under supervision with a temporary bar card in may
of 2009. She began handling her own cases in August of 2009 with Texas Tech’s Legal Clinic, where she
trained under seasoned legal professionals, assisting in major felony cases and family law matters. After
graduating with honors in 2010, ranking in the top 19th percentile of her class, Gonzalez practiced law in
Lubbock for four years before returning to Houston to establish her own firm in the Heights. As her
practice grew, she expanded to Hempstead, Texas in 2019, reflecting her family’s ties to Waller County.
Gonzalez remains dedicated to advocating for her clients, including frequent appointments to represent
children in the court system.
