She's experienced in probate, estates and wills, and elder law and has a good network so she can advise you on several things or find someone who can. The Hilbun Law Firm is a smaller firm and first time visitors might be surprised at the office. You're not getting the expensive glass tower you'd expect from a downtown Houston law firm and there aren't multiple floors of interns in thousand dollar suits running around to serve the big guns. And you won't be paying for it either. What you will get are the things worth paying for: fairness and honesty. In addition to the probate I also later commissioned Elizabeth to handle my other parent's will and power of attorney document. Again she was able to get everything done and at a competitive price. I would offer only one caveat; a smaller office stays busy with its clients and in addition Elizabeth is busy serving the community in a myriad of ways between giving free estate planning seminars and putting efforts into helping the elderly and veterans. These are all good things that just reinforce the authenticity of her character, but be prepared and maintain communications with the office during your case and plan ahead when you need to be on the calendar for appointments. It will serve both parties well.
