I am a former Federal Employee who was involved in whistleblowing case. I was immersed in a toxic work environment at my Federal Job. Initially I thought this was a situation I could handle on my own by reporting a co-worker's bully behavior to my supervisor but the situation soon degenerated to the point where I found myself the victim of retaliation.
