Felony assault
I obtained Lisa's services to represent my then fiancé in a felony assault case in 2017. This occurred around the same time Texas had experienced hurricane Harvey. When I received the contract stipulations from Lisa, she specifically stated that she would not start working on the case until the fee...
I am so sorry that you feel like I didn’t provide good service to your fiancé as you state in this review. You neglected to discuss the outcome of the case and whether the results were what we were hoping for. In regards to the Hurricane being an issue, it has been a huge issue for all criminal lawyers in Harris County, since we now have to appear in 5 different locations at the same time most mornings. Most are making appearances in more casual clothing and wearing comfortable shoes due to this new development, unless we are set for a jury trial or hearing, which we were not in this case. In addition, my own home took on 3 feet of water, so if I was distracted during those first weeks surrounding the storm, please understand that I am sorry and it was an unusually stressful and upsetting time for me and my family. We were uprooted from our home and our work schedules were changed at the same time - so I hope that others reading your review will understand. Your statement about my needing full payment to begin services is not correct and every person who hires me will be able to review a contract and discuss it fully with me before signing it. I am sorry you had a bad experience with my services during that time period. I invite you to please contact me “off line” to discuss these issues, since you never expressed your concerns with me prior to my reading them here - now 7 months later.
