In addition to his work as lead defense counsel, Milan provides insurers with coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and conducts examinations under oath on suspected fraudulent claim submissions. With more than seven years of experience managing coverage issues and personal injury liability claims for an automobile liability insurer in two states (Georgia and Texas), Milan is adept at each of these respective aspects of insurance. His litigation practice focuses on insurance coverage and defense: personal automobile, commercial trucking, general liability, premises liability, and select criminal law matters.
Milan is a former Assistant Nueces County Attorney in the Civil Litigation Division (Corpus Christi, Texas), where he successfully argued two published cases before the Thirteenth Court of Appeals. His responsibilities included defending Nueces County, its officials, departments and employees in civil lawsuits in both state and federal court; representing those same officials in Civil Service Commission hearings; representing the State at hearings for court ordered mental health services (involuntary confinement and/or treatment); representing domestic violence victims seeking protective orders, and responding to a variety of Public Information Act requests. He is also a former Assistant District Attorney who prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony criminal cases before juries with the Nueces County District Attorney’s office.
Milan is a current member of the Woodlands Bar Association, a legal advocate for both the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU) and Texas Association of Special Investigation Units (TASIU). He represents individuals, corporations, and insurance carriers in all state courts throughout Texas and has represented trucking clients in Tennessee, Pro Hac Vice, pursuant to Rule 19 of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Milan was admitted to federal practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on August 2, 2018.

Very helpful and professional in a stressful situation
Mr. Marinkovich was very helpful in helping my family navigate false accusations filed with Family Protective Services. He was professional and courteous with everyone involved. He was even good with both of my children. I can't recommend him or his staff enough.

Great Attorney!
Milan worked diligently and aggressively to advocate on my behalf for a contract dispute that my company had with a vendor. He got results that I was unable to achieve on my own. I am very impressed with the services that I received.
"There are litigators and there are trial lawyers. Litigators create voluminous amounts of paper at great expense to the client. Trial lawyers focus their time and attention to winning in court through preparation, skill and tenacity. Milan epitomizes a professional trial lawyer."
"Milan is a great attorney. If you need someone to get the job done, he's your guy. I have worked with Milan on a few cases. Each has been enlightening. He has tons of knowledge from all areas of the law. He is a litigation attorney who always comes prepared. He tells it how it is and doesn't hide the ball."
"I have tried a case with Milan Marinkovich. His deposition skills and trial skills are very impressive. I highly recommend him. He is highly qualified and very competent in civil litigation practice."
