Rocky Leann Pilgrim

I hired Rocky to represent me for a custodial modification at the beginning of 2025, I consulted with 3 different offices before making a decision on Pilgrim Law. In fact, I had two different consultations with Rocky before I made my decision. A lot of things helped me make that decision, I think ...the most important for me was she knew the law and explained it to me in a manner that wasn’t confusing or misleading. The two times I consulted with Rocky she told me what she thought would happen and explained what she recommended, and she was correct both times(a few years prior). I never felt that she made promises to me in how things would turn out(I had attorneys do that before). Her staff was always helpful in answering my questions or getting me answers in a timely manner. Rocky’s staff would either reach out by email or phone within the same day. Her responses to the court were very direct and calculated in my opinion, I didn’t feel like she was trying to drag this out longer than needed. I also felt that she genuinely cared about the wellbeing of my children. I know being in a situation where you need to an attorney can be stressful, but I would definitely recommend you at minimum consult with the Rocky Law Firm.

We hired Ms. Pilgrim for her amicus services to protect the welfare of my children. and unfortunately, my experience with her was extremely negative. From the outset, she came across as disorganized and unresponsive. After the initial home visit, she became nearly impossible to reach. Despite numerou...s attempts—via email, phone calls, and even in person—communication was sporadic at best, and she rarely followed through on what was discussed. It was evident that she was overextended, juggling multiple roles as both an amicus and a mediator, which seemed to compromise her ability to perform either role effectively. One of the most frustrating aspects of working with her was the complete lack of transparency around billing. I requested an invoice multiple times throughout the case and never received one. Instead, an unexplained amount simply appeared in court filings related to her fees. While her charges were reportedly lower than those of other attorneys, the poor communication, lack of professionalism, and absence of basic accountability more than offset any potential cost savings. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking a reliable and competent legal representative in such an important matter.

Ms. Pilgrim represented our children in a protracted and at times very toxic family case. She represented the needs of the kids with precise attention to detail, a compassionate heart when dealing with extended family members involved and impressed us even further at trial with her professionalism an...d ability to connect with the court as well as the jury. She protected the rights of the kids involved and her due diligence proved what was in their best interest and gave them the opportunity to live a safe and healthy life, in which they now thrive. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Rocky Pilgrim is an amazing attorney. My custody case involved a series of high conflict situations. From the start, Rocky understood the complex dynamics. She was consistently prepared and well researched. I appreciate how Rocky included me in the process, was generous with her time, and patien...t while providing explanation. She was an encouragement during times of intense stress. Rocky always remained professional, but clearly cared, and was invested in helping my family. From time to time we would disagree on an issue. Looking back though, I have to acknowledge that her advice was correct. She called it right…every single time. Rocky really knows the law. She is smart, insightful, and creative in the way that she problem solves. Rocky has earned my trust, and my future business. She and her staff were a pleasure to work with. I have already referred her to several friends.

Does a lot of puffing but does not follow through. Was not at all aggressive in mediation. Acted as though she was intimidated by opposing lawyer in my divorce case. Was assuredly intimidated by judge. Very aggressive towards me, at times yelling and telling me to empower myself. Allowed ex-hu...sband to terrorize me after mediation with no action on her part. I would not recommend Ms. Pilgrim under any circumstances.
