Joseph W. Krippel

I was appointed Mr. Krippel on 6-8-21 for a poss. charge. I have priors and been to prison 3 times. I really thought I was gonna do 6 months or more, but on 6-15- 21 I had a visit with him to tell him my side and get my verdict from the D.A. He said 2 yrs drug court or 30 days in jail with a 1244 A. ... A felony dropped down to a misdemeanor. I was in shock and started crying thanking him, but most of all thanking God. On 6-17-21 I went in front of the judge, was granted the 1244 and released that evening!..........Thankyou again Mr. Krippel!

Joe helped me with my criminal case in Montgomery County. He actually took time out to come see me in jail a couple of times, which was very cool. It showed me he was really interested in seeing that I received the best possible defense I could get. Mine was a plea deal where there were easier rou...tes I could have taken, but Joe stressed to me that there was a better way for me in the long run if I just committed myself to the programs he helped get me into and lived a good life. I ended up with a deferred adjudication on a Class A Misdemeanor and a pre-TriaI diversion on a State Jail Felony. The probation officer that was present in the court the day I took my plea told me she had never seen a deal like that before. He basically got me a second chance. Pretty awesome job. I appreciate the hard work that he did for me. He is very knowledgeable of the law and very easy to work with.
