also known as Bloodworth Law Firm, P.L.L.C.
I am a former minister, who is married with three children and three grandchildren. Before becoming a lawyer I went through a divorce I did not want and learned the hard way that who you hire for a lawyer, really matters. I love my children and understand deeply why "family" matters. I fight for the truth and justice, in the middle of a crazy and mixed up world. I believe that I am in partnership with each of my clients, I depend upon them to tell me the facts, and they depend upon me to educate them on the law and present their story to the Judge or Jury. I believe in strong communication with my client and I have instituted procedures in my office to make sure clients know what is going on with their case.
The law firm as an extensive law library enabling me to research the law and obtain the most up to date analysis of the current law on a particular issue. I also handle appellate cases, and as a result, I am personally acquainted with appellate rules, issues, and what appellate courts think about certain issues.
I have obtained not guilty verdicts in criminal cases tried to a jury, I have obtained large judgments in civil cases, including employment discrimination cases; and while past success cannot predict future results, I consistently fight for my clients every step of the way in their case. I work with them to prepare them and their case for trial and work to WIN every time!

Excellent Divorce Attorney
My world was turned upside down when I learned my husband was living a double life in another state. I felt cheated, used, hurt and discarded. I felt very anxious about hiring a divorce attorney as I never researched it. I was clueless. No one ever plans to divorce! I had knew of a relative who Mr Bl...

Truly awesome lawyer!
I had no clue where to turn when I was looking for a lawyer to take my case... I called Bloodworth Law firm, and from the second they answered the phone and set up my consultation, I felt relieved. After meeting with Mr. Bloodworth, I was confident that I just hired the best lawyer in Texas. He is a ...

Don't EVER hire this lawyer!
I hired this lawyer and in court, he sounded as if he was representing the opposing side. He blew my entire case the moment he opened his mouth. He has no idea how to communicate with clients. If you try to explain what you want, he takes that as an affront and is incapable of hearing anything you wa...
Because AVVO allows individuals to post "Anonymous" reviews, this review cannot be verified or fact checked. In fact it could have been posted by anyone, an opposing party, witness for an opposing party, or a lawyer in competition with our firm. Instead I would recommend that if a potential client is looking for recommendations of which lawyer to hire that they go to our website and read what actual real clients of our firm and other lawyers say about our work and our firm. The reviews on our website are required by the State Bar of Texas to be real reviews by actual people and the name, address, and phone number of those people must be submitted to the State Bar of Texas for verification. This assures the public that what is said about a lawyer is truthful and stated by a real person.

Bozo the clown
I hired Mr. Bloodworth thinking that he was the best for my case. At our first court appearance. I felt very nervous about all of it but just vthoughtbit was precourt jitters since I have never been divorced before. When introducing our case the the court the firsts words out of his mouth were "Judge...
Thank you very much for taking the time to review our law firm. Your input and the feedback from our clients is vitally important to us and we always want client expectations to not only to be met but exceeded. Because AVVO allows anyone(opposing party, an opposing lawyer, or even a mental patient) to post a review on AVVO. Therefore, reviews on AVVO, cannot be verified or fact checked, and should be carefully considered, BEFORE, being relied upon. Based upon the information in your review, it does not appear you are a "real" client of our firm. Without providing your name or email address I cannot verify or respond to your complaint. You may be an opposing party, a disgruntled family member of a client, or a competing lawyer. If you are really a client of our firm, I would like the opportunity to discuss the matter with you. Please call me at my office or send me an email with a time that works best for me to call you. Thank you.

Divorce
If you are needing someone to understand and fight for true justice, Mr. Bloodworth and his staff are it. Going through a divorce is so hard, but I felt so supported through the whole process. The staff and Mr. Bloodworth answered any and every question I had and were patient with me through the whol...
"William is a warrior for his client. He is one of the few real trial lawyers left in Texas. With a moral compass that remains dialed in, you never have to question whether you are adequately equipped for litigation when William is your attorney and/or co-counsel."
"I have known attorney Bloodworth for eight years. During that time, I have had the opportunity, as his opposing counsel, to interact with him on a professional level and to experience first-hand his legal expertise. I have continued to be impressed by the manner in which he fights endlessly for his client’s position, while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor toward his opposing counsel. William Bloodworth is the attorney to whom I refer cases in the event of conflict within my own office, and I routinely receive thanks from those whom I have referred. It is particularly important for attorneys to stay abreast of not only Supreme Court rulings but also the latest courtroom aids which can so often enhance our client’s position. Attorney Bloodworth’s obvious knowledge of current case law, in addition to his excellent command of computer aids, makes him a formidable opponent whom I can enthusiastically recommend as a family law specialist."
"I endorse this lawyer. I knew William in law school, and he is an attorney who fights hard for his clients. He never gives up. He is honest; if I needed a family attorney, I'd hire William in a heartbeat. I'd want him on my side."
