Kim McTorry is very unprofessional, everything about her handling my husband‘s case was unprofessional we were not able to get in contact with anybody from her or her office for about a week. There’s been no call back to anybody. She only text message back and avoids answering any questions. Please ...do not trust this state to let this attorney represent for you.

Very professional and honest Lawyer. She and her office took time to communicate back with me concerning my case. She informed me with updated information concerning my case and what my options would be. I watched her advocate and defend me. She got my case dismissed and I highly recommend this Lawye...r.

Ms. Torry made no attempt to defend my son on a case that could have easily been resolved. We wrote up a summary pointing out all the issues with the case, made copies, highlighted had affidavits and much more ready for submission to the court. We contacted her by email and phone for over a week(as... soon as she was assigned). Finally got a reply the day before court and neither she or her office had any idea of my son’s case. This attorney is a perfect example of the issues with the Texas legal system. She was assigned as a public defender as opposed to hired counsel but in my opinion it highlights not only the Texas criminal justice issues but also her integrity.

she was a terrible lawyer, terrible communication between her and her client, and she works for him and decided herself to take a case to trial, regardless if i pay you or the state pays you, you have a obligation to work for your client. DO NOT HIRE HER. you have to go through her office to beg for ...a call back.
