I would absolutely not recommend the Joyal Law firm to others looking for lawyers. I found that they were difficult to get a hold of and once I began questioning what I believe was an error on their part, it became incredibly difficult to get a call back. They are a father/daughter team and your cont...act person changes throughout the process, which becomes frustrating. We chose to replace them as counsel with someone else and have been very happy with the process with our new attorney. I did not feel as though they were working for our best interest during our time with them and I will not be using their services in the future. I was extremely disappointed.

Hire at your own risk. I had a terrible experience with this attorney. Was all bright and promising during the consultation, but after getting the retainer, no work was done and the retainer was drained by e-mail responses after having to ask every other week if there was any progress on my case. Exc...use after excuse until, lo and behold, the entire retainer was drained, five months later, then all the sudden the case didn’t look so promising, although no relevant facts had changed. I’d give him a negative rating, if I could. Go elsewhere...

Mr. Joyal has been our attorney for about 6 years now. During that time, he has handled several things for us as well as advising us on others. He has handled drug charges against a family member as well as successfully getting her into rehab. Ed's firm worked tirelessly to get this accomplishe...d. This proved to be very difficult and the odds were greatly against us. Getting her into rehab literally saved this person's life. For me personally, the most important case in which he represented us, was the custody issue for our granddaughter. He was able to get this resolved to our satisfaction. You have no idea what a relief that was to me, to know that we will not have to worry about where she is or that she will be taken and hidden somewhere, as she had been in the past. I never made a call to his office that was not returned in a timely manner. If I had a question, Ed either called me or his para-legal called for him. Never did we have a problem with communication or lack thereof. When we were in his office, his office staff was also very gracious as well as professional. My husband and I have recommended Edward Joyal to anyone in need of an attorney. As far as I am concerned, Edward Joyal went the extra mile for us and we will continue to recommend him and his firm.
