Biography
Allison Phillips draws from experience that extends beyond the courtroom. Ms. Phillips graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry and Criminal Justice. She went to work for the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office in the Controlled Substances lab and then for the Michael E Debakey VA Hospital. There she worked hand in hand with one of the leading infectious diseases doctors in Houston. In 2011, Ms. Phillips traded in her lab coat to begin her legal career. She studied at the prestigious University of Houston Law Center, graduating in 2014. Ms. Phillips honed her trial skills as a prosecutor in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, specializing in juvenile matters, until 2017 when she left the office to open her private practice. Her unique combination of scientific expertise, and trial skills makes her a more effective and thorough advocate.
