Never Answers, Doesn't write back, Doesn't Fight My Case

I currently have her as lawyer she never shows up to court, I was sitting in jail for 6 months and kept getting reset, i had my mom contact her she told my mom to text her then never answers, also her voice mail is currently full. I tried to write her but she didn't answer back. I was arrested with m...y first ever offence at court Sept 17 2020. Sat untill Feb 20th. I had to post my bond because she got me reset 3 times without me even going or knowing why I was being reset, never got a bond reduction or anything. I'm also 17.

She's just floating through the system.....?!?!?

I ended up in jail, because of an argument that escalated to the police being called. Why?! Because we're homeless, living in a hotel. But, it was a rookie who came out, but, that's neither, here or there. I was in jail for 6 days, 3 of them being processed in. And, because I was in medical, I missed... my court date. So, my next court date was set off for 2 months. But I decided not to sit in jail, and even though it took me 6 days to bond out. I never heard of a, Stephanie Martin. When did I, finally see her? It was about 12:30, almost 1, of my court date, she didn't even remember if she had seen me in jail, I told her no, that's why I bonded out. I, preceded to explain to her about my charge, ( aggravated assault on a family member) . That my' common law' husband and I had a argument because of our living situation. I'm trying, also, I needed to file a" Pauper's Affidavit" , and she kept telling me that I didn't need it. But I tell that,' my family and I are' "chronologically" homeless, and have been for a while now. But, her only interests were to inform me that because the new DA is trying to make a name for herself, that she will probably, Lock me up. So, I proceeded to look at her like she was insane. , She gave me my 2 months, set off and let me know that she will see me next court date. Well, unfortunately, that was last Monday and I couldn't get there because my husband and I were put out of our hotel room. So I called the district clerk and told her about my situation. ' our' situation, and that we had our bags and nowhere to go to make it possible for me to get to court, so, I called Stephanie Martin all that day and the next day and next day until, on the 4th day, I called my bonding company, who told me that I needed to go to court and fire her3. I even called on like the 5th day, and her vcmail is full. And, the judge revoked my bond and we have our children with us now. It's, so ironi6, I told my husband that I was going to file a complaint with the board for misrepresentation. Stephanie Martin only care about a steady paycheck. And, I get SSI disability, and I'm the only one who has income. If I get locked up, my family will be out in the streets. Instead of this woman doing the best she could, she just blow off pro bono cases, not caring about the situation or anything else. Now I need to figure out how I'm going to get the judge to understand what happened to me. This case should have been thrown out because my husband of 7 years is not going anywhere. And neither am I but, still, this situation has escalated now.. but I stand with my Lord and Savior,, always. He will see me through this. But I pray that someone find the compassion to understand that she is messing over her clients, and I seriously think that the court need to reevaluate her cases. Say someone know of a good lawyer, I'm going to file a lawsuit against her, what do I have to lose.

You need to get it together and not forget your there for your client

My child's father has been in jail for a while now and a case that should of been easily dismissed hasn't because she has not done her job to get it dismissed.. I know all she is a court appointed lawyer and she is going to get paid anyway but they're trying to give my childs father a long time becau...se she wont do her job in defending him.. Hasn't seen him only shows up on his court days failed to update on the fact that she is no longer at the law firm I had to google to try and get ahold of her.. never answers her phone and at that cant even leave a message because her vmail is full and cant accept any more.. I've had no choice but to report her to the Texas Bar Association..

Refused to help my case

I had Stephanie Martin as my court appointed attorney. She informed me of a wrong court date which in return, I showed up the wrong day and the judge revoked my bond. I spent a night in jail, and my bond was raised a additional five hundred dollars. My father left her a voicemail telling her how disa...ppointed and enraged he was at the higher bond he had to pay to get me released again due to her negligence. On arriving at my next court date, she informed me she would not even look at my file or help me in any fashion, because my father left her a angry message.
