Jennifer Rachelle Jenkins

Attorney Jennifer R. Jenkins, is a Houston, Texas native. She graduated from Episcopal High School in Bellaire, Texas where she excelled prior to leaving Texas for Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a dual-concentration business degree from a historically black college and university (HBCU). Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree, she returned to Houston and worked for many years in accounting and global finance for the corporate powerhouses of JP Morgan Chase, the Bank of New York, and Mellon Financial.

After a successful career in finance, she left Texas again to pursue her juris doctorate degree in Michigan, where she completed her doctorate as well as concentration in three legal areas.

She has worked extensively in criminal law helping to free the wrongly imprisoned through the Innocence Project, where she used properly preserved evidence and forensic science to provide relief for clients. She has worked in civil law, family law, drafted wills and trusts for clients, assisted clients in business formations, and she also has experience in probate law. In addition to her legal experience, Attorney Jennifer Jenkins values service and has worked to consistently give back by assisting deploying members of the Armed Services pro bono, advising them of their federal rights, drafting legal documents, and  preparing wills other necessary protections. She has aligned herself with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the AIDS Walk, the Sisters Network, and other volunteer organizations where she dedicates herself to the causes she believes deeply in.

Upon being admitted to the State Bar of Texas, Attorney Jenkins immediately joined the Consumer and Commercial Law; Family Law; Insurance Law; Juvenile Law; Labor and Employment Law, and Real Estate, Probate and Trust sections of the State Bar in order to steadfastly remain current in the law and the cases that impact her clients.
