As a former felony prosecutor, Erik M. Locascio has tried many cases as first chair, including assaults, drug cases, DWIs, and a variety of others. He additionally handled hundreds of cases from initial arrest to final disposition, including pleas and other hearings. Erik is skilled in all aspects of criminal law, including punishment hearings; bail hearings; cross-examination of civilian and police witnesses; motions to suppress evidence; and more.
During his time at the University of Houston Law Center, he was a finalist in the John Black Moot Court Competition, as well as a member of the Mock Trial team. Erik provided great communication and expertise throughout the whole process....from initial consultation to my case being expunged successfully. I would contact him daily with questions and he always responded promptly and always gave me full attention. I highly recommend him to anyone.
"I've had the pleasure of working with Mr. Locascio for several years now, and I've known him since we were in law school. Anyone who hires Mr. Locascio is in great hands. Erik has a great mind for the law and he really cares about his clients. Having been a prosecutor for several years, he is familiar with the criminal justice system, and he uses that experience to help his clients. I endorse this great attorney."
"I endorse Erik whole heartedly. Having practiced against Erik when he was a prosecutor and also having worked along side him as a defense attorney I can attest to his intelligence, character and work ethic. Erik is a great attorney and truly cares about his clients."
