I knew Sonya Coffman was the attorney I was looking for at the end of our first consultation and immediately hired her. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease at the first meeting, and throughout the whole process. I would recommend Sonya if you want a lawyer who is very knowledgeable,and up t...o date on the laws related to divorce cases. She really listens well,and is very thorough in her research and presentation. She tells you the facts, the pros and cons of your case and the possible outcome, depending on which way you decide to proceed with your case......ie: going to court vs settlement. She is willing to fight for what you deserve. I think she is an excellent attorney who is willing to go to court for you if needed....not afraid of a fight if necessary so that you get the best possible outcome...but not one to jump into a trial if not necessary just to drag the case out and make more money. She is very articulate, and pays attention to details........She files /serves all the paperwork as it is supposed to be done even when the opposing attorney doesn't do there part correctly. In other words, she follows proper procedure, dots all the "I's" and crosses all the "T's". She responds promptly to your phonecalls and emails, is always professional but also very personalble. She makes time for you and doesnt make you feel like you are interrupting her. Even though it was a very painful experience having to go through divorce, she encouraged and supported me throughout the whole ordeal. She made me feel more like a friend rather than a client, which I really needed since it was so intimidating and humiliating to have to go through all of this.....she was a true advocate and I am stronger for having had herin my corner........and by the way, I did get the best deal in may case, and I don't think my ex-spouse even realizes it!!!!!!!!!1
