Great Attorney!

I hired Amy to represent me in court for my eviction cases, she is Professional and knows her field well, I was very happy with her performance

The Worst

This lawyer never answers her phone. I hired her for my family law case and after about 6 months it came evident that she just didn't want to represent me. Bc my case was in Fort bend county outside of the Houston city limits. My ex in the case was very uncooperative so it was difficult to get anythi...ng done. I wanted multiple enforcements done and she just didn't want to do it. She never answered my calls. I was in the hospital and she stated she appointed a different lawyer to my case, she didn't give me his number and said lawyer never called me. I asked her multiple times in email for an update, she never gave me one until I became up set. Once I got out of the hospital, I emailed her for an update and she quit. She made me feel like walking on eggshells. She's rude, mean, and difficult to work with. I hate that I couldn't give her half a star. This is only one of the many incidents Amy put me through for no reason.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
