One of Mr. Philip M. Campa's strategy's is to delay as long as he can. The first delay was going to court on the date set, knowing ahead of time he was going to ask the court to come back at a later date. We never made it back to court due to more delays. It made no sense for on-going delays beca...use my husband at the time, and I, had already agreed to split everything 50/50, had it in writing and both of our attorney's were given a copy. We both agreed to do it peacefully so there was no need to draw it out any longer. Mr Campa assured me that he was working on getting the paperwork together. I had to contact him/his assistant numerous times to find out what the delay was. One year later, we were where we started. He avoided my calls. I paid what he asked but he didn't deliver what he said he was going to do. I finally sent the papers for him to withdraw and within three hours it was signed and sent back to me. Poor service. Since I no longer had an attorney, my ex-husband's attorney, Michael J. Collins drew up the paperwork for both him and I. We went to court a week later and our divorce was final and it was done peacefully. Attorney Michael J. Collins made sure I got 50% of the 401k, as well as his retirement. It all went so smooth, and he didn't even charge me a cent, nor did he charge my ex-husband any more money.
