During a very difficult time Dawn made the experience as easy as possible. I had already consulted with a well known Lawyer in the area who would not return my calls, and felt very desperate and alone when I found Dawn. I was incredibly fortunate to find her. The moment I walked out of her office aft...er the initial consultation I felt a huge relief. She answered my calls and emails promptly, listened to and addressed all of my questions and concerns. It was a difficult divorce as I moved out of the country during the process however, Dawn handled it seamlessly and made the process incredibly smooth with very little work required on my end. OMG!!! THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EVER WRITING A REVIEW BUT I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING DAWN WHEN SHE WAS WITH KATHY VOSSLER. MY ORIGINAL DIVORCE ATTORNEY DID A BANGED UP JOB ON MY DIVORCE AND CHILD SUPPORT FROM MY EX WHO WAS IN THE MILITARY. HE TRIED IN EVERY WAY TO AVOID BEING SERVED. DAWN WAS EXCE...PTIONAL IN EVERY WAY. SHE STOPPED THE NONSENSE WITH MY EX, WAS BEFORE TIME FOR MY COURT APPEARANCE, VERY KNOWLEDGABLE, AND THE JUDGE RESPECTED HER AND KNEW SHE MEANT BUSINESS. STILL TO THIS DAY I HAVE REFERRED ALOT OF PEOPLE TO HER AND THEY ALL HAVE SAID THEY WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY SHE WAS THEIR ATTORNEY AND NOT THEIR EXES. After reading the good reviews on Avvo I decided to contact this lawyer for a divorce consult and received the unfortunate surprise the lawyer is completely rude and unprofessional. For the consult the secretary asked me to complete a questionnaire and forward any documentation I had available so M...rs Renken could review with me and discuss during the consult. When I called for my consult , introduce myself and explain the purpose of my call her answer was not friendly and seemed inconvenienced my by call. Certainly not was I was expecting after reading so many good things about her.

Dawn was my lawyer for my divorce that was just finalized. I didn't want the divorce, my wife filed. I didn't know what to do or how to start or what to expect. Dawn was very patient. She laid out all of the option, even recommended we go to counseling and delay the divorce. In the end, my marri...age couldn't be saved, but Dawn gave me a better outcome than I could ever have expected and I am getting on with my life.
