Do not hire if you need an attentive attorney

I hired Mr. Joglar in 2006 to represent me in a criminal matter. He took my case on a $5000 retainer. He NEVER appeared to ANY hearings (missed a bond hearing), NEVER returned ANY calls, MANY MANY MANY important calls where missed that resulted in life changing consequences had he returned a call. ... In one particular meeting he had his legal asstant meet with us and she had during that meeting she had to attend an incoming client that was in the lobby. Our meeting was short but as his assistant came back into the room where we were meeting she informed him that Jane Doe (I forgot what the lady's name was), the crazy lady was here. He said "i don't want to talk to her." We wrapped up the meeting immediately after that and his assistant said to me "I'm going to make it seem like he's still meeting with someone so I can tell her he's unavailable." As I walked out his assistant followed me and as i passed the lady, his assistant says to me "ok so we'll keep in touch and ill let you know what happens after they meet." then she turns to the lady and says "he's still meeting with someone so hes unavailable..." I didn't sick around to catch the end of that conversation. I finally had to fire him as an attorney because the VERY important phone calls he wasnt returning started resulting in damages. When I fired him I asked for a bill of all the work he had done and a refund of the unused potion of my retainer, nothing was provided, not even an invoice showing the work that was done on my matter.

Would recommend him!

I wish I would have known about Mr. Joglar during my first divorce years back. Without getting into personal info, I can honestly say I'm very glad I hired Mr. Joglar for my second one. The court system in Harris County is a mess and it's easy to loose hope. But Mr. Joglar helped me stay focused d...uring the journey and reminded me to stay positive and in good spirit. In the end, it all ended well. Not only Mr. Joglar took handled my case in a professional and caring way but he also helped me to cope with the emotional ups and downs of the court system. Thank you Mr. Joglar!

GREAT FAMILY ATTORNEY

Mr. Julio Joglar was a great family attorney. He used his knowledge to help me get my family matters taken care of in a timely manner. He listened to what I had to say and helped me get through this tough times. His secretary, Yanira Mendoza is GREAT. Whenever I have questions with my court order..., she was ALWAYS there to answer any concerns I had. I would recommend Mr. Julio Joglar to anyone. He will always stand up for you at your time in need.

Thank you Mr. Joglar

Dear Mr. Joglar, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your secretary, Yanira Mendoza, for all the support and guidance you both provided me, during my difficult divorce process. The first day I walked into your office, my life was in such disarray, and I sincerely was drowning i...n tears. The compassion, understanding and strong support you both provided will forever be in my heart. I will forever be grateful to you and Ms. Mendoza. Sincerely, S. C.

Very good experience!

I was sent to Mr. Joglar by a friend of mine. He did her divorce and she was very happy with the him. My case was complicated but Mr. Joglar was knowledgeable and handled everything well. I feel his fees were reasonable for the amount of work he did and he was respectful and courteous. One thing ...though, he's a busy lawyer so don't expect a call back from him within the hour. But then again, do you want a lawyer in high demand or someone that no one wants to hire? I'm just saying...
