Knowledgeable attorney with years of experience

Jeff is a responsive attorney who is very knowledgeable. I appreciated his insight on a matter I had.

Scammer

I was referred to this “ attorney “ by one of my friends- because my retained attorney was out of town when my issue happened- this guy he refused to do anything before I paid him 2500$ as down payment. I paid him 2500$ - and next day he said he can’t make it to court on the hearing date because... he had another case in Dallas, and that he have to reset the hearing. I figured if this is how it is from the beginning it will be problematic down the road. So I decided to take a different route and I requested him to refund me my money. This guy says I earned my retainer and I’m not refunding your money. Mind you he couldn’t even pull my case info online. He done absolutely nothing to me and now he won’t return my money. I really don’t need the 2500$. But it literally became a matter of principle. I see he was disciplined by the bar before so it seems that his character. Now I’m willing to spend more money than he got from me to get him checked by the bar/court whatever would get my money back. Because this is not how an attorney works.

Colt

Mr. Sasser handled my assault case. He won the case when we went to trial. He was much better than the other attorney and I will definitely refer him.

The worse almost $3000 I’ve ever spent

I came to court several times, each time we never saw a judge because he either didn’t schedule a hearing or had us come on a day that walk ins weren’t accepted. He filed several motions incorrectly. The respondent signed a waiver and I signed a notarized affidavit, even with that the judge ended up ...denying the release of divorce due to several code errors. Every time he did something wrong he had a attitude with me as if I was the one to blame. He had what seemed to be the worse memory. It was so bad that he actually spoke with my mother who came with me to court about my case thinking that she was me. My mother had to direct him to me. Working with Jeff Sasser has been by far the worse unprofessional experience I’ve ever had in my entire life and I’m almost 40. It was so bad that I asked him to withdraw from my case and he of course got angry, told me not be blowing up his phone and they he would send the release of attorney form on his own time & then hung up in my face. I’m giving my honest to God testimony that I couldn’t make up if I tried. I had to live this huge disappointment. I hope this helps someone because divorce is already difficult enough all by itself to go through, and to top it off with this was nothing shy of turmoil.

Weak and unknowlegable attorney

I hired him in a family law case. He just absolutely destroyed my case. He lacks knowledge of laws. He makes mistake filing motions to the court, and doesn’t seem to know how to properly word documents that is to be submitted to the court. Instead of concentrating on one field of law, He takes all so...rt of cases from family to criminal to business but he lacks knowledge of all. He never got to know my case for a year that he was handling it. He was always confused. Hardly makes notes when I would consult with him or tell him about important events. I found myself repeating things over and over again as he seldom pays attention and is forgetful. He is also quick to anger toward his clients. I also found out that he had been disciplined by the board and put on probation for 2 years in 2006 in Harris County. You can do a search and it pops up. I am also putting together several documents to send to the board that clearly showed his dishonesty and lack of sincerety.
