Ms. Karam is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and served as Advocacy Liaison for AILA’s Texas Chapter from 2010-2013. She has volunteered at the Chinese Community Center, the Tahirih Justice Center for Immigrant Women and Girls, and volunteered at citizenship clinics in the Houston area. She also spoke at the AILA Texas Chapter Conference in November 2013 on the topic of Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny.
