I hired Akingbola while I was dealing with an inappropriate conduct with a student case. Investigators were pressuring me for a statement. As soon as Akingbola got involved all the pressure ceased to exist and I was informed there wasn’t enough evidence for a criminal case nor was there a cooperating... victim as the student didn’t cooperate with the cops and She was 18 going on 19 and graduating. I was instructed to resign by Akingbola so I wasn’t liable to make a statement. The case went smoothly after that. Bayoji’s investigators were able to recover evidence and surveillance footage that proved our case -and proved that the crooked cops in Pearland PD and the “victims “ lied! Bayoji brought in an expert witness who helped the jury understand how the “stand your ground” law applied to our case. Bayoji’s cross examining style revealed the poor investigative techniques of the police. He also revealed the lies of the “victims”. Most importantly each day prior to going into court our family prayed for a favorable outcome. Having a Christ Believer as a lawyer was the strength of our case. He stood on God’s truth and man’s Law to construct our defense. Bayoji joined our family in worship while we waited on the jury’s verdict. We waited four hours for the jury’s verdict. My neice was found NOT Guilty on charge #1 and NOT GUILTY on charge # 2. Bayoji’s defense proved that stand your ground laws are applicable to everyday people.
