Immigration Court Update-Husband Won!!!

I would like to say, "Thank you Attorney Abraham J. Galaviz", for preparing, representing, and winning my husband's removal case in immigration court today! My husband entered the United States over 23 years ago, had several entries, remained illegally, and had few misdemeanors in criminal court.... Aside from the language barrier my husband was struggling in understanding the process and couldn't remember information that was vital to his case, but Attorney Galaviz once again (previously represented and obtained an immigration bond; September, 2014) took the time to explain the process and even did a similar mock trial of what the court would look like today; including questions and testimony. Following this, my husband was more confident, calm, and prepared. Attorney Galaviz provided the court evidence, witness testimony, and presented a very strong case which was a complete shock when the government attorney (the one that wants to deport you/your loved one) stopped the proceeding and recommended to the immigration judge to end the removal proceedings against my husband, the judge agreed, and granted his green card! Attorney Galaviz is professional, honest, hard-working, and dedicated. If he can help you, he will tell you and if he feels that your case is weak or little possibility in winning he's not going to take your money, like many other attorneys have no problem in doing so! My husband, children, and I will forever be grateful to this wonderful, one of a kind, sincere immigration Attorney; Abraham J. Galaviz. Maria and Luis, (09/26/2019)

Reliable, Trustworthy, Hardworking Attorney

On April 21,2015 vacationing from Mexico. My husband a U.S.A. permanent resident was detained @George Bush Airport(Houston, TX) Due to past charges from his teenage years that consisted of battery on a Leo(officer),controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Confused &scared w/possibility of my hus...band being deported,I went online for a lawyer TX & FL. I left msgs for 7 lawyers & only received 4 return calls. Each lawyer would say pretty much the same thing, needed a retaining fee upfront in order to see him,“I’m like really?”,@this point all we wanted was an answer to one question,“would he be deported?” they all kept telling me they needed to work on his case to give me some type of answer but that I needed to hire them first, one lawyer that I can remember very prestigious & ranked @ 10 on AVVO he sympathetically calmed me down spoke to me & sounded legit that something can be done,so I retained him to go see my husband &give some type of peace of mind as he was in a chaotic mindset.Following days the retained lawyer goes & visits my husband telling him“will see, that He had a difficult case in hand & didn’t seem to have a fighting chance due to his charges”my husband not happy w/that answer desperately looked for a 2nd opinion w/out me knowing,he was referred to Abraham Galaviz. My husband called & met w/Galaviz right away,Galaviz started looking into his issues &pinpointing what is what, explaining to my husband that he had a fighting chance, meanwhile I got a call from the lawyer I retained w/the news that he wouldn’t be able to help my husband due to him moving to the Conroe facility &he didn’t travel that area but that he could refer me out to a good colleague,if he would of disclose that he didn’t travel throughout the state of TX I would of never wasted my $on him &use that amount towards a permanent lawyer. We hired Galaviz which started working on the case right away.Submitted a motion of cancellation of removal by June he had his 1st court appearance, after that the ball was rolling, every time they came up w/something Galaviz was ready to counter act &defend my husband rights of being in the USA,the judge approved release in Sept2015 but the TA(trial attorney) fought that decision & Judge granted another month of proof to revoke grounds of release, Galaviz diligently prepared for the following court hearing in mid Oct.which TA fail to comply in a timely manner or evidence nor had sufficient grounds to revoke Galaviz’s motion(s).This case was such a roller coaster &intense we thank God for putting Galaviz in our path,my husband returned home Oct2015. In 2016 we consulted w/FL lawyers to apply for citizenship since we are FL residents, over 5 lawyers reviewed my husband’s past charges & court rulings, advised him to stay as a permanent resident & not to bother in applying as he would not be eligible,we called Galaviz in Dec2016, shared what the FL lawyers were saying & again, Galaviz w/confidence ASSURED us that my husband would not have a problem in obtaining citizenship,we hired Galaviz, immediately w/in the same month he filed the application for citizenship by Feb2017 we received notice for biometrics &receive study guide for the citizenship interview &test. By Sept2017 we received the interview appt but due to Hurricane Irma we had to reschedule, which Galaviz’s office took care of that.In Oct2017 my husband was scheduled for the citizenship interview in Florida. He expressed concerned due to all the red tape & issues w/immigration court in the past in Texas that we requested Galaviz to be present just in case something was to come up, he’s proven over &over to be a hands on lawyer to get it done right the first time.My husband past the test & interview, we waited 21 days as instructed by USCIS for decision. As of 12/01/17,my husband is a UNITED STATE NATURALIZED CITIZEN &Galaviz is to thank for his honesty, hard work, &patience due to our anxiety,we guarantee you;you hire Galaviz,he will have your best interest at heart.

Won a difficult immigration case

My husband was detained by immigration at the airport coming from our vacation. He is a permanent resident for a case he had from 2009 and completed, they still detained him. I went to several lawyers and one told me he can help. He took my money and said oh I cant anymore. after consultation with 5 ...different lawyers, they all told me the same thing, we cant help you. one even told me not to look anymore because he will get deported. i mean who wants to hear that when your whole life changed in a second. but thankfully we found mr galaviz. he said i can help, he literally ask me about a million questions about how my husband is. he said we got a good case. when hiring a lawyer, communication is the number one key. you can call, email and text Mr.Galaviz and within minutes he will respond. I remember even on sundays he was visiting my husband at the detention center.Today was our final hearing and WE WON!! I thank God for putting Mr.Galaviz in our path to help us. He knows his stuff and guys any questions you have he will answer no Mather how dumb they are, i mean i think i asked over a million questions after he kept telling me the same answer. He knows what to say to make you feel better and also lets you have a saying in your own case. I dont ever wrote reviews but this time I am. If you really need a lawyee that loves and bleeds law, hiring Mr.Galaviz. Hid prices are reasonable and works with you in any way and again communicates with you. His staff is friendly and there for you too. I not once felt lonely and we knew we had a good lawyer in our side. So again he is THE BEST!!!! P.S sorry for all the mispronunciation but I am on my phone outside the court celebrating the win.

HUSBAND DETAINED BY ICE/ATTORNEY SAME DAY VISIT/BOND GRANTED!!

My husband was arrested for a misdemeanor and while this charge was dismissed, he was detained by ICE as he had an immigration hold. I called Mr. Galaviz one late night and left a voicemail. Quite frankly I was not expecting a call back because it was a little late, but he did called me back within f...ew minutes and not only did he took the time to listen to my distress, he comforted me and reassured me that he would do the very best to bail my husband out so he could be back home. He asked me for a thousand documents to bring with me for an appointment we had scheduled the next morning. After our meeting he went to visit my husband that same day in the afternoon and in less than two weeks Mr. Galaviz got a bond for $5,000.00 and my husband was back home. Because of the excellent, professional, and expeditiously assistance from Mr. Galaviz, my children did not even know their dad had been incarcerated and he was home for the holidays! Since, my husband has applied for a work permit and we are awaiting for a court hearing with the judge. I was highly impressed with this attorney as he is highly skilled in immigration matters, prepared, knowledgeable, thorough, professional, affordable fees, keeps clients informed and involved, always returns calls [even after hours], and most importantly Mr. Galaviz is a unique advocate with a sincere vision to helping the immigrant community. Without any reservation, I would highly recommend him to anybody for their immigration matters.
